KerchNET, DELTA move to top six

While the high profile matches in upper bracket at GameGune 2012 were going on, DELTA bested zNation 2-0 while KerchNET eliminated Karont3 from the tournament with a similar result.
First map of the former series was de_train where DELTA's Artur "BEn" Ostrach led all players with his big green weapon. Unlike in their previous encounters on the map, this time the Polish side had a strong counter-terrorist side and scored eleven rounds.
zNation's hero from last nights match against ENTiTY, Anatoliy "liTTle" Yashin once again performed amicably on the long ranged map as well, but it wasn't enough as DELTA ended up winning 16-10.
DELTA march on in the lower bracket
The series was decided on de_nuke where DELTA started as the attackers. Once again led by Yashin, zNation tried to lock down the map but weren't able to counter the Polish offense, and had to settle for six rounds on the first half.
DELTA showed similar defense in the second half as they had against ESC earlier in the tournament, and the series was over after just eight rounds with Tomasz "ths" Sopel leading his team in scoring with a performance of 22 frags. GameGune 2012Best of 0 zNation

The other simultaneous series in lower bracket saw the tournament's first match happen on de_forge, with the Ukrainian KerchNET taking on Karont3. The Ukrainian side was simply outmatched in the map as three of their players put in over twenty frags each.
Opening half saw KerchNET secure ten rounds as counter-terrorists, and it only took them seven rounds to score the required six rounds in the second half of the map, putting Karont3 in a do-or-die situation in map two.
KerchNET live to see another round at GameGune 2012
Karont3 had an impressive start to de_train as they scored eleven rounds on their offensive side, an impressive feat no matter how you look at it. However, a game is not over until you reach sixteen rounds.
KerchNET weren't going to let this one slide, as they rallied as a team and started winning rounds one at at time following a pistol round win. In the end, they went up 12-2 on the harder side of the map and won 16-13, 2-0 overall. GameGune 2012Best of 0 KerchNET
