TYLOO crowned DreamHack Masters Spring

TYLOO won DreamHack Masters Spring - Asia after defeating ViCi 3-2 in the best-of-five grand final.
TYLOO and ViCi won their DreamHack Masters Spring Asia opening matches against Beyond and Lucid Dream, respectively, before playing the upper bracket final, where HaoWen "somebody" Xu and company came out on top 2-1. After defeating Beyond in the consolidation final, ViCi set up a grand final rematch against their Chinese rivals, in which TYLOO would start with a 1-0 lead thanks to coming from the upper bracket.
It looked like TYLOO were going to sweep their opponents in the grand final, going up 2-0 and reaching map and match point, but they were beaten in overtime before ViCi then pushed the match to a fourth and final map trying to reverse sweep their countrymen. Ultimately, however, they fell short in the last map as TYLOO were proclaimed champions after winning the decider.
Already up by a map, TYLOO started off the match on their first map pick, Mirage, where they were able to take the T-side pistol round. Although they lost the following and went down 1-3 early on, they were able to tie it back up 3-3 before going on to take the lead and win the first half, 9-6, giving up only sporadic rounds to the defenders. Having won the pistol round TYLOO then went on to close it out 16-9.

The start on Inferno was similar to that of Mirage, with TYLOO taking the pistol round before going down 1-3, albeit on the defending side this time around. Unlike Mirage, however, ViCi didn’t let up once guns were in play, going on to dominate the half to lead 10-5 by the end of it. TYLOO inched closer to a comeback, and although ViCi were able to win their first buy, overextensions by the CTs in the following round put YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng and company within striking distance, 9-11.
TYLOO then took a 12-11 lead before ViCi could tie it up in the last stretch of the map. A last-ditch effort on a pistol buy from the CTs made it 13-14, which they were able to turn around to push the match into overtime. Three CT-side wins in a row cleared the path for ViCi on the attack, as they won the OT cleanly to set up a third map.

ViCi got up to a quick 3-0 lead on the CT side of Train, which they dominated from beginning to end, giving up only a three-round burst half-way through, ending 12-3 with Andrew "kaze" Khong and WeiJie "zhokiNg" Zhong putting up big numbers. TYLOO were able to find footing early on in the second half as they took the pistol round, but ViCi got on match point with a three round streak. TYLOO made a final push to take it to OT, but fell short, 11-16.
TYLOO dominated early on in Overpass, going 5-0 on the defense before ViCi could reply, although they did so twofold, forcing the CTs on an eco to make it 3-5. ViCi quickly ran out of fuel, however, unable to put up another round until the last one before the switch, going down 4-11. The second half was a one-sided affair early on as TYLOO hit match point immediately, and although ViCi won five in a row, it wasn't enough, as TYLOO closed the map out 16-9 to win the map, match and tournament.
