Astralis put OG out of top

Astralis have swept OG in a convincing two-map series to clinch their second win in the round-robin group stage.
Astralis' triumph sees the Danes stay in the running for a top-three finish in the second stage. They are currently sitting in fourth place with one match to go against MOUZ, which will decide whether they will enter a tiebreaking scenario with the European side and the loser of fnatic-Natus Vincere (in case of a win) or finish the league as the fourth-best team.
Meanwhile, OG's hopes have been thwarted as they're now sitting at a 1-3 record without a chance to reach the top three ahead of their last match against FaZe, which will only determine the fifth and sixth place.

At the beginning of the series, Astralis immediately took hold of OG's pick, Dust2, getting off to a painless start on the offense. The only thing standing in their way during the half was Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski, whose two multikills gave the European mixture a string of three rounds, but otherwise the Danes were in total control as they swept the rest of the half.
Up 11-4, Astralis conceded the first three rounds of the second half but quickly seized control again, with quad-kills from Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth pushing them to a 16-8 win on the opener.
Overpass followed with more of the same. Emil "Magisk" Reif's all-headshot pistol round ace set off another dominant offensive half, in which OG could only muster a three-round streak once more. Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and device turned around a 2v4 afterplant in the second pistol round, putting Astralis at 13 rounds, and even though their opponents managed to stall the game, it didn't take long for the favorites to lock down the series at 16-10, 2-0.
